Kunteres is a Gemara reader with community review tools, operated by Yitzchok Sabel.

Your account

When you sign in with Google, Kunteres receives your basic profile and email address. Google handles your Google password. Kunteres uses Neon for sign-in and account storage.

Your reviews

Kunteres stores your proposals, choices, comments and review history. Your contributor name, proposals and comments may appear to other readers. Administrators can review account details, moderate access and export review records. Review history may be retained when a proposal changes so earlier decisions can be understood.

Personal PDF copies

PDF exports include your name, email address, export date and browser details as visible identification. This information stays in the PDF when you share or print it.

Email and service providers

Kunteres uses Vercel to host the service and Neon to store account and review data. When email is enabled, Resend processes recipients and message content for account messages, invitations and review notifications.

Site usage

We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure visits and general usage. We do not send names, email addresses, review text or sign-in details to analytics. Query strings are removed from recorded page addresses. Private administration pages are excluded.

Browser storage

The reader saves preferences and sign-in state in your browser. Hosting and sign-in providers also process technical request data needed to run and protect the service.

Review analysis

The owner can export review data to study placement quality and improve algorithms. Exporting a file does not itself send it to an AI service. The export can include contributor details and comments.
